Improvements to make:
The feed back from the class and the teacher was very useful. it gave me insight into the key components of our rough cut that i personally did not recognise whilst editing the footage. For example when the teacher mentioned that there was a shaky scene. i didn't realise that it was noticeable until she mentioned it and i looked back over the footage. Below i will present a list of the things i need to fix before further editing and how i will go about doing it.
Jump Cut:
crop the video and sync the ring tone sounds to make it integrated
Shaky Frame:
cut the shot a bit earlier so the shakiness is not noticeable
Cutting around the car:
make the cuts a little shorter in the shots where the car is parking up

What worked well...
Whilst showing our rough cut two to the class a compliment we got was that our establishing shots worked really well. we used it to establish the setting and location through out. They said that it set a cold and harsh atmospheric mood and built tension.
Interesting and clear sequence:
This statement compliments the quality of our title sequence. One of our big aims for this course work was to make our film as understandable as possible. From looking at other students work i have realized that they do not focus on this area as much as we do, and in consequence it effects the whole quality of their film all together. things start to look out of sequence, shots do not seem to flow together, and you start to recognize mistakes. By our interesting and original camera skills along with our conventional music we have managed to cover up mistakes and make the whole thing flow altogether.
Even better if...
Over saturated colour grading:
One of the things we wanted to do in this lesson was to get the saturation done. This is used in many films and it is a conventional feature that most political thrillers use. An example of this is in the film The Matrix. They often use a slightly greenish tint this gives off a technical and futuristic effect.
Music Could Be Changed:
In this lesson we started to tweak the music and create a dramatic and intense soundtrack at the moment when the driver is being strangled. I found a really good soundtrack from a film i've seen "Liberation". i knew this would be a good soundtrack for this scene as there is a similar scene in the film it already came from. Evidently some people didnt agree with me. Instead of changing the music completely i am going to edit the music and create fades where it would get louder and quieter. this will start flow with the images in the background. The music will be queit at first and then get louder a faster when the driver is being strangled.
